Anita Salem is Professor of Mathematics at Rockhurst University where she has taught since 1976. For the past ten years she has been involved in the Calculus Reform effort as an evaluator & implementor of Project CALC and principal investigator for an NSF project that produced a collection of interdisciplinary projects for calculus. She is currently researching student approaches to problem solving.
