I think Sharon has a good basis of her mental management. The study shows that she is aware of her thinking because if she does not understand something, she goes back over the material. She also connects her own ideas with the material that she has read so she will be able to understand it more. Sharon also controls her thinking by stopping and thinking about what is being asked or what she is reading. She also uses tactics to help her understand better, which would be reading over many examples. I think Andrew has no clue in mental management. He is not aware of his own thinking. Such as when he is asked a question, his response does not relate to what is being asked or does not relate to the passage that was read. Andrew also does not seem to have any control over his thinking. His mind wonders onto other subjects when tries to answer a question. Andrew is very unsure about his answers and does not know how to word them the way he wants to. |
