The Visible Knowledge Project (VKP) consists
of more than 70 faculty on 21 campuses nationwide. On these campuses faculty
are engaged in a variety of activities examining student learning, pedagogical
change and technology integration. Most VKP members are members of a local
campus discussion group--a group of faculty who meet regularly to discuss
these issues. Within each group, one or two faculty a year are designated
as "primary researchers"--local campus discussion group members
who are engaged in research projects on student learning and technology
integration.

"I want my students to dig deeper, to do a variety of kinds of
research, and to learn to ask and begin to explore critical questions
about culture and cultural texts."
