About the Project

•As we enter our findings and synthesis years (2004-2006), we will engage in a variety of activities designed to articulate and synthesize both what we have learned and where we think the agenda for research should be. You may find one expression of this synthesis, the basis for which was formulated by working groups at the 2004 Summer Institute, in our VKP Gallery.

•One of our key present activities is the production of a volume of essays, The Difference That Inquiry Makes. This is a volume featuring the work of individuals and groups within the Visible Knowledge Project. We are currently engaged in an editorial process with the essay's contributors and plan to publish sometime during the next academic year. To learn more, read the Call for Contributors.

•Through their engagement in scholarship of teaching projects, VKP faculty document the impact of pedagogical and technological innovations on student learning in their own classrooms. Many of these classroom research projects are presented electronically, as virtual project posters.

•To learn more about various aspects of the project, browse the About the Project section of this website as well as our web-based VKP Community Newsletter.
