Please change the title above to match the topic that the resources on this page are appropriate for (topic 1 on the list provided in the email is given as the example above, see the list for the other 5 choices)

THE PROJECT

Please provide the title/name of the project/course/activity/resource and a 50 word summary.

Please identify the type of resource so that we can make this easily searchable in the future.

RELATED LINKS

Here you will link to the resources that you wish to share. This can be done through a link in the text if you are linking to a URL or through the Edit Links/Upload Files feature found at the bottom of the box. You can annote the links either way.

Remember:

To make a link in the text, highlight the words that will be clicked on, click on the globe icon in the menu above and type the url for the link into the box provided. You can choose to have the new page open in the same window or a new window by using the pull-down menu under the box for the url. Once you have created a link, you must click on the save button and reopen the editing box before you can create another link in the text.

An alternative is to make a list of links at the bottom of this (or any) box. Sometimes this is the preferred option because the reader will not be interrupted so many times. These links can be made by using the "Edit Links/Upload Files" option at the bottom of the box. There is the option to annotate the links there as well.

ASSESSMENT

If you have performed any assessment of the resource you developed please include that information here.

Insert picture of HHMI Prof here with students or engaged in a the activity described on this page. Avoid standard head shots. Pre-size the picture using a program like Photoshop to approximatley 150-300 pixels wide. Insert the picture by clicking on "Add/Edit image" and select the "text to the right of image" option. Label the photo with the Prof's name and anyone else identifiable in the picture using the Image Caption text box.

REFLECTIONS ON THE MOTIVATION, PROCESS, AND PRODUCT

This section is optional but it would be very helpful to potential users of your resource to have any further insight into the development and use of your resource. Insert a discussion of your successes and challenges in the development of this resource. Upon reflection, what would you definitely continue with and what are some changes you might make?

ANYTHING ELSE?

If there is material that you wish to share on your homepage snapshot (vs on secondary pages) that is not covered in the sections of the template, please feel free to add more boxes.

Remember:

To create another box, just click on the "Add Box" button of any box on the screen. A new box will appear above the box you clicked on. You can then use the arrows in the right hand corner of the box to move it to the desired location.

Please use verdana font, default size 2, all capital letters, bold, and blue for your headings in each box.

Please use verdana font, default size 2, regular capitalization of letters, and black font for the main text of the box. Please feel free to bold, italicize, or underline for emphasis wherever appropriate. Remember, just because it says Verdana above, does not mean that the text is actually Verdana.
