Kathleen Bransfield has taught at Slater School for 3 years, two years as a K/1 teacher and 1 year as a 4/5 teacher.  Kathleen came to the field of education initially as a parent volunteer.  After years of volunteering in her own children’s classrooms when they attended Slater, Kathleen found it harder and harder to leave the classroom and go to work.  She realized she had found her passion and returned to school to earn her teacher’s credential.  Kathleen is also currently completing her Master’s in Education at Santa Clara University.  In her free time Kathleen enjoys cooking, swimming and spending time outside in nature with her family.
