Privacy Statement

The Knowledge Media Lab of The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors.

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information.
The Knowledge Media Lab collects personal information upon a visitor's request to register for the KEEP toolkit. The information provided is not sold, rented or shared with any individual or organization and is used only for identification and communication between the Knowledge Media Lab and the individual.

We do not disclose your private online communications.
The Knowledge Media Lab honors the confidentiality of its users' private communications. However, what you explicitly publish on your Snapshot electronic portfolio is available on the Web and may be accessible to the public.

We do not use any information about where you personally go in the KEEP toolkit or the Web, and we do not give it to others.
Our system does record access or "hits" to the web server, and these are stored on our system. We use these logs for security, maintenance, and statistical purposes. We do not use this information to track any specific user during normal use of the KEEP toolkit.

We will keep you informed about what we do with your personal information, and we will advise you if we change our policy.

A key part of The Knowledge Media Lab's commitment to protecting your privacy is explaining to you how your information is managed. This privacy policy serves that purpose, and it is accessible through several means within the KEEP toolkit demo. We will notify you in the event of changes to our policy.
