This site was developed over the couse of a year based on Bill Cerbin's Scholarship of Teaching project for the Higher Education Program of the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). Bill was responsible for conceiving of the project, conducting the inquiry, compiling course documents, and writing the analysis. Desiree Pointer took primary responsibilty for turning the materials into the web version. Tom Hatch provided editorial and content guidance throughout the process. Toru Iiyoshi gave important feedback in the later stages of the project. Bill, Tom, and Desiree frequently discussed design and content issues during the development of the website. We'd like to thank the Pew Charitable Trusts for their support of this project, Pat Hutchings and Lee Shulman of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and the Carnegie Academy for the Study of Teaching and Learning. |
