The site consists of 2 "program" pages that give an overview of the journalism program discussed here and 6 interconnecting "principles"
pages that delve into the key principles behind this particular learning community.
The
site is constructed so that the visitor can enter from the beginning
and read it in a linear fashion (by clicking on "next page..."
at the bottom of each page) or can chose a particular topic of interest
on which to focus ("criticism and feedback in the learning community,"
for example). Regardless of which method you choose, we highly recommend
you read the program and principle page overviews. Likewise, the
site can be read in a shallow or deep manner—each underlined link
on these overview pages can be accessed. Reading the supporting
documentation and resources would lead to a deeper understanding
of the program. Click here for a site

PROGRAM PAGES These pages give an overview of the
journalism program as a whole, the curriculum for the beginning sophomore class and the structure of the advanced junior/senior production class.
LEARNING COMMUNITY PRINCIPLES PAGES
These pages illustrate and describe the features and underlying principles of the learning community and its outcomes.
NOTE: When the writing appears in first person it is Esther's voice, when it appears in
third person it is Kim's voice.
