OUR DEFINITION OF A LEARNING COMMUNITY
A group connected because of a common goal, who learn as a result of achieving that goal—whether it is creating a web site, play, business, or newspaper.  A learning community is an authentic learning situation that parallels real-life roles and goals, in which every person plays a part in carrying out a project.
