Reading Corner

The reading corner serves as the class library as well as a workspace for a variety of different activities. Students read here, write, play with puppets and blocks, draw and, at times, take naps. Pillows make for a comfortable space where work can happen on the floor differently than in the rug area. It is a more secluded and confined space than any other physical structure in the room. Included here are a few examples of how work happens in the space of the reading corner.
