Rug

The rug areas is one of the main physical spaces in the room. It is here that the class meets in the morning, where ideas and assignments are introduced, where discussion takes place, where work is shared, where collaboration of all kinds happens. It is the primary meeting space in the classroom. Depending upon the task, the carpet is one area students can choose to write, read, and work in addition to the tables and the reading corner.
